This past week was really great; I am falling in love with Geneva.
I really enjoy my internship now, even though the translation work is monotonous, but the people I work for are great because they really take the time to explain the workings of international relations to me even though I am a music and English major. I am supposed to go pick up my UN Badge sometime next week so that I can go sit in on Human Rights Council meetings.
Classes were short and sweet, and it was really nice most of this past week, so I spent the time in between classes lying in the park napping and reading.
It was about 60 degrees on Friday, so we had a Picnic (yes, capital P) that lasted for about 4 hours in the nearby park. Rachel played guitar and we all sang and ate sandwiches and it was really wonderful.
We got to try out a awesome slide! ---->
Zurich's old town is much more livelier than Geneva's old town, and it felt like everyone there was really friendly. I really like listening to German; going to Zurich made me really want to take a German class next year at Smith.
Okay, well I am very sleepy. Much love to everyone at home!

Do they have Daylight Savings Time in Switzerland? We all just did "Spring Forward" and everyone is walking around dazed and sleep deprived. Today is also March 14 or "Pi" day (3.14...) so my boss, YES, my BOSS, brought in pies for us. According to the Bible, Pi was calculated as a cubit (18") divided by handswidth (4"). A cubit is measured from elbow to tip of middle finger. Handswidth is distance across the palm under the knuckles. The person with the measurements closest to 18" and 4" is crowned Pie King or Queen. None of us made it here. Is the Royal Pie over with you?
