Goodbye Genève

I spent my final full day in Geneva yesterday--it felt so good to come "home" after two weeks bopping around in Italy, even if only for a day. I loaded up on souvenirs to bring home to the people I love. Then Dagny, Dani, Marie, Anne, and I all ate one final dinner together and watched a bit of Robin Hood. I'm really going to miss being all together...I'm so glad to have met so many wonderful human beings both from Smith and from other countries here in Geneva.

A mean lady just inspected my room and I'm headed out in a couple hours to begin the 11 hour trip home.

I don't think it's really hit me at all that I am actually leaving, that all the things that are coming next are real. Our director says that some people fall back into their routine in the US, and sometimes feel like the whole experience wasn't even real. So strange to think about...

I have loved this semester more than I ever could have expected. I don't know what to say, or how to feel. I won't say goodbye, because I hate the definitiveness of goodbye. But I will say "au revoir"...until we meet again.
